One of the greatest things about living in Wilmington are the amazing things that happen all around town. Tonight happened to be one night that JAZZ at Lincoln Center were playing at the Wilson Center. How could anyone pass up a such a great concert?
The Wilson Center is a place where performing arts of all kinds are able to showcase all their amazing talents. From music concerts, such as this one tonight, to comedians like Joe Ghatto and broadway musical productions like Shrek the Musical, there is always something going on. With the location of the Wilson Center being in downtown Wilmington, it is located near a large parking deck and plenty of other parking where students of Cape Fear Community College park.
Tonight's concert was full of trumpet jazz music and singing like you wouldn't believe. To begin the evening there was trumpt and piano playing in the lobby. The Wilson Center proudly allows their faculity to join in on special nights like tonight and play for those waiting for the doors to open.

After getting to our seats, which were great by the way, we waited for the concert to start. Before the main event, we were entertained by a small jazz act that really knocked it out of the park.

Jazz at the Lincoln Center was truly amazing! They sang songs everyone knew such as Dancing Cheek to Cheek and they sang songs written by themselves. Have a Little Heart and 3rd Times a Charm quickly became some of my favorite swing numbers by far. This concert did not dissapoint and I'm ready for the next show!
